Shuttle Visit
On Sept. 21, 2012, space shuttle Endeavour, mounted atop its 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, flew over the Golden Gate Bridge and visited NASA Ames Research Center. The shuttle visited Northern California and Ames as a tribute to the contributions that Ames has made to the shuttle.
